Annalisa Raspagliosi

Hailed as one of Italy's brightest young stars, soprano Annalisa Raspagliosi made her European debut in 1998. A student of Raina Kabaivanska, Ms. Raspagliosi's operatic roles have included Amelia from Simon Boccanegra; Luisa from Luisa Miller; Mimi from La Boheme. Most recently, she portrayed Nedda from I Pagliacci with the Los Angeles Opera. Her talent has graced such stages as the Teatro Verdi of Pisa, Deutsche Oper of Berlin, the Teather Verdi of Busseto and the Opera of Bordeaux. She is noted for her lush vocal quality and distinctive dramatic talents.

In addition to her operatic roles Ms Raspagliosi has toured throughout the world from Milano to Mexicali. She is known for her breakout performance with Luciano Pavarotti in a concert held in Mexicali where she stepped in for an ailing soprano during the Pavarotti Gala Concert .

Ms. Raspagliosi has a tone so pure and stylistic that she has set herself apart from her fellow sopranos. She surely has a long and flourishing career ahead of her, A talent not to go unseen.
